TRUE CHRISTIANITY IGNITES ACTION AGAINST EVIL

By Rev. Ted Pike

Editor's Note: This is an edited version of the recorded Bible study under this title at Truthtellers.org.

In 1982, as I was finishing my book, Israel: Our Duty, Our Dilemma, there was almost no vocal American opposition to Israel and Jewish supremacism except for the Spotlight newspaper and the Washington Report on Middle East Affairs. That year, Israel saturation bombed the refugee camp of Ain-El-Hilweh in southern Lebanon, killing 19,500 innocent occupants. Stan Mooneyham, president of World Vision International, wrote the following as he made his way through rubble and rotting bodies: “The sheer magnitude of this one visible piece of the Israel war machine is incredible. David seems determined to become Goliath.”

Only two Western columnists, Georgie Anne Geyer and William Safire, had courage to criticize Israel in the national media. I dreamed at that time what seemed an impossible dream: that through my book and by personally going out on the thin ice of criticism of Israel and surviving, I might give courage to others to do likewise. In fact, I hoped that someday truth about the wickedness and threat of Jewish supremacism would become so well known that my book would be only one of many such resources.

This has come to pass. Orders for my book and video The Other Israel, as well as financial contributions to our National Prayer Network, have sharply declined, a phenomenon experienced by other anti-Zionist book and video sellers. The internet contains so much free documentation concerning almost every facet of the Zionist conspiracy that people don’t need to spend $25 on a book.  The Other Israel was put on Google and then later on YouTube about seven years ago, and about 750,000 people have watched it.  (Watch The Other Israel) Viewers are unmotivated to buy a hard copy but rather go to the next video exposing the New World Order. Of course, I’m delighted the internet has allowed the truth of The Other Israel and my other video documentaries to go out to hundreds of thousands, even if it doesn’t result in any appreciable income to our ministry. Jeff Rense recently told me that because of the encyclopedic volume of free information on the Zionist conspiracy on the internet, "the day of making any money from a book or video on that subject is passed.”

But there seems to be another reason for the present decline, particularly in financial contributions to anti-Zionist watchdog groups: Former activists have become utterly convinced there is no hope. Instead of new truth on the internet stimulating action against Jewish supremacism, it may be having the opposite effect: creating a deep conviction there is really nothing we can do.

I had not anticipated this reaction.  From the beginning of my awareness of the Zionist threat as a high school student, I presumed that civilization's best chance to hold back Jewish world control would come by hearing and receiving the whole political truth.  People would then take action.  The more people who heard truth, the more action for justice would occur. What actually seems to be happening is that, without vigorous faith in God, increasing knowledge of a conspiracy this overwhelming actually can create despair.  As a result, the very profusion of knowledge which I thought a primary key to deliverance from Zionist bondage may become a key locking many into fatalistic apathy.

A foretaste of where we may be heading is communist China.  A generation ago the breathless world watched as a young Chinese student stood before a tank in Tiananmen Square, defiantly blocking all it symbolized.  Yet the popular uprising for freedom he represented was crushed, as were previous efforts.  Today, hope for political and religious freedom in China is gone.  The only options for independence or even teen rebellion are in extremely micro realms, for example, a choice of music or vacation destination.  There is no respect for the person who advocates macro change and freedom on the national level.

Is this to be the fate of those whose extensive internet education on the Zionist conspiracy has only served to make them impotent? I hope not. Brother Nathaniel Kapner optimistically told me that, despite the present slump, there are countless people on the fence just waiting to come over to our side.  I hope so. Yet we are racing against ever increasing Jewish supremacist power.  I believe God has victories to give us. But political education must be accompanied by faith in God's power and eagerness to save those who trust Him. How do we obtain this kind of faith?  Let's consider the story of Jonathan and his armorbearer and their incredible rout of the Philistines in I Samuel 14:6-15.

The Philistines had invaded Israel with 30,000 iron chariots and 6,000 horsemen, as well as a vast army.  The Hebrews fled, hiding in holes in the rocks.  Does that sound like our present predicament?  Yet,

Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armor, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that the Lord will work for us: for there is no restraint to the Lord to save by many or by few. 7 And his armorbearer said unto him, Do all that is in thine heart: turn thee; behold, I am with thee according to thy heart. 8 Then said Jonathan, Behold, we will pass over unto these men, and we will discover ourselves unto them. 9 If they say thus unto us, Tarry until we come to you; then we will stand still in our place, and will not go up unto them. 10 But if they say thus, Come up unto us; then we will go up: for the Lord hath delivered them into our hand: and this shall be a sign unto us. 11 And both of them discovered themselves unto the garrison of the Philistines: and the Philistines said, Behold, the Hebrews come forth out of the holes where they had hid themselves. 12 And the men of the garrison answered Jonathan and his armorbearer, and said, Come up to us, and we will show you a thing. And Jonathan said unto his armorbearer, Come up after me: for the Lord hath delivered them into the hand of Israel. 13 And Jonathan climbed up upon his hands and upon his feet, and his armorbearer after him: and they fell before Jonathan; and his armorbearer slew after him. 14 And that first slaughter, which Jonathan and his armorbearer made, was about twenty men, within as it were an half acre of land, which a yoke of oxen might plow. 15 And there was trembling in the host, in the field, and among all the people: the garrison, and the spoilers, they also trembled, and the earth quaked: so it was a very great trembling.

The terror and confusion created by this divinely empowered dynamic duo, as well as the earthquake caused by God, spread mass confusion and hysteria among the Philistines, causing them to kill each other and the whole enemy army to vacate the land.

How can we rekindle the kind of incredible faith and courage Jonathan and his armorbearer exhibited, courage that motivated two Christian soldiers to not only assault a garrison of many Philistines but to attack on hands and feet going uphill? The first requirement is total consecration and confidence in God and trust in Jesus daily. If we do this, we will be given courage and empowerment not of ourselves.  We will receive guidance from the Holy Spirit, as did Jonathan and his armorbearer, leading to action for truth and freedom.  We can also follow examples of godly courage provided by others.  Jonathan was clearly under the influence of David's astonishing courage against Goliath.  He yearned to do such exploits as well; and the Philistines' garrison, though unassailable according to reason, was to his spiritually supercharged way of thinking an easy target.  He knew "there is no restraint to the Lord to save by many or by few." I know this, too. I have seen it.

In 1971, the Canadian branches of the Jewish Anti-Defamation League passed their federal hate crimes law in the last minutes before Christmas vacation.  There was no protest to this freedom-destroying legislation by the Canadian church then or now.

In 2001 in America, despite widespread viewing by the anti-Zionist right of my video documentary Hate Laws: Making Criminals of Christians, the evangelical church remained oblivious to the hate law threat. (Watch Hate Laws: Making Criminals of Christians) A 2001 survey of evangelical high school students revealed that 92 percent were in favor of the hate laws ADL had passed in 45 states and wanted a federal hate law. No one was aware Canada had lost freedom of speech.

By 2005 I was almost sick with concern that somehow the evangelical church be awakened.  In deepest prayer I repeatedly asked God to show me a way to bring light to the church within what seemed dangerous and impenetrable darkness.  I tried calling in to national talk shows; but, as soon as I expressed concern about the threat of hate crimes law, I was told, "We are not talking about hate crime laws today."  But one anti-Zionist talk show host, Bill Brumbaugh, having read my writings and watched my hate law video, began putting me on his internet radio show.  He recommended I contact a Christian booking agent he knew.  I also was able to get on Pastor Ernie Sanders' program on an Ohio Christian mega-station.

Then it happened.  Confirming the statement, "Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad," Philadelphia DA and member of ADL's national executive board, Lynne Abraham, arrested 11 Christians as hate criminals.  They had been peacefully witnessing during a large Philadelphia gay pride rally in October 2004.  They spent a night in jail and faced up to 47 years behind bars and $80,000 in fines each.  I knew then that God had delivered ADL and its hate law agenda into my hands.  He had provided a case against hate laws that I could now trumpet to the nations.  He was making a way where there seemed to be no way!

My agent furnished me with dozens of talk radio contacts on the alternative right.  Both Christian and mass media were virtually silent; and, armed with this "scoop" on what I called the "Philadelphia 11" outrage, I got on most talk shows I called.  Without exception, I identified the Jewish ADL as originators of hate laws and Jewish Lynne Abraham as behind this unprecedented persecution.  The result was that my anti-Zionist, anti-hate law message penetrated every corner of far right radio. Abandoning any lingering support for Israel, most alternative radio welcomed, or at least tolerated, criticism of Israel and Jewish supremacism.

At the same time God was further answering prayers.  Reflecting increased awareness of hate law threat, Joseph Farah, owner of WorldNetDaily, began editorializing and running articles critical of hate laws, sending a simple message through evangelicalism: Hate laws are bad. They have taken away free speech in Canada and persecute Christians.  As a result, despite their best efforts to exclude my influence, God used me to powerfully, indirectly awaken the pro-Zionist evangelicals concerning how hate laws destroy free speech.

How then were my prayers that the church be awakened to the danger of hate laws answered?  The same way as for Jonathan going uphill against the Philistines: by first believing that with God all things are possible and then by taking action at His leading.

There is much each of us can do to delay the Zionist new world order -- if we are dead to ourselves but alive to God's power.  This is a time when God is more than ever ready to assist those who exalt His power to save.  The Book of Daniel says that in the latter days: "…the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits." (Dan. 11:32)  For many, the equivalent of a great exploit may simply mean speaking the truth against Zionism in a church testimony service or Sunday school class or at a family gathering.  It is a victory just to keep in the fight.

We must not go into anonymity, thinking to find safety in the "holes in the rocks."  God still has great triumphs for those who have the faith of Jonathan and his armorbearer, who say like them, "…there is no restraint to the Lord to save by many or by few."
