CALIFORNIA'S ANTI-ADL RABBI

Recently, after reading my latest article "ADL Blasts ‘Paranoid’ Right," Los
Angeles Orthodox rabbi Nachum Shifren called, congratulating me. He
says he loves what I am doing to oppose the Anti-Defamation League's
pro-homosexual, anti-American hate crimes agenda. You can read his
blistering attack on ADL at www.newswithviews.com.
A Jewish radical and hippie in the 60s (he is still a surfer), Rabbi
Shifren is running for the California state senate as a political conservative.
He says, “The leftist Jewish media here has completely marginalized
me as “radical,” preferring to cover my leftist, tax-and-spend,
pro-gay opponent." The liberal Jewish community has raised $2
million to defeat him, while he has spent $3,000. He vows he will prevail
and continue speaking out - including against ADL.
In California, as in the nation, the great majority of synagogue-attending
Jews (Conservative and Reform) lean toward a secular interpretation
of Judaism. Along with many Jewish atheists, they support homosexual
rights, abortion, and hate laws. While backed by the Orthodox community
(about 10% of American Jews) Shifren says he has given up attempting
to speak to hostile, secular Jewish audiences.
In California, ADL, voice of secular Jewry, is the mainspring, along
with the homosexual lobby, of inspiring California’s pro-homosexuality
and same-sex marriage initiatives. ADL and its twisted "anti-bias" ideology
helped create S.B. 1977, California’s “anti-hate” statute,
which forbids criticism of homosexuality in the public schools. It
was written by liberal Jewish activist and ADL lackey Rep. Sheila Kuehl.
If Rabbi Shifren makes it to Sacramento, he will have to battle an
increasing number of liberal Jewish legislators typical of those now
inhabiting state houses and Congress. These are usually direct pipelines
of ADL's pro-homosexual, abortion, hate law, anti-Christian agenda.
Shifren reminds me of Rabbi Daniel Lapin, another anti-ADL Orthodox
Jew. I hoped Lapin would lead a sizeable minority (up to 20%) of American
Jews in opposition to ADL bullying. Shifren said he had a long talk
with Lapin concerning this possibility and found him unable to assume
such a mission.
Rabbi Shifren says he is full of fight to do just that. He swears
he will resist ADL with all that is in him for the rest of his life.
The rabbi's friendliness to me is a powerful reminder that everything

on the radio to warn against ADL works powerfully, not just for the
benefit of Christians/conservatives but also for Jews.
It's time for all Jews to realize that ADL does not really seek or
accomplish the good of the Jewish people. In the 6 th century B.C.,
the prophet Jeremiah instructed the exiles of Judah being led away
to Babylon under Nebuchadnezzar to seek the peace and prosperity of
the nations of their dispersion. He promised that in the peace of those
nations they would also have peace (Jer. 29:7). The great sin of ADL
against the Jewish people is that, by defying God's will as revealed
through Jeremiah and subverting the values of its host nations, contriving
freedom-destroying hate laws, and attempting to dominate governments
and coerce politicians, ADL incites anger not only against itself but
against all Jews. These include the many Jews innocent of such malevolence.
It is true most American Jews are liberals, sympathetic to some degree
with ADL's agenda. AP reported a year ago that 81% of American Jews
helped vote in the predominantly pro-homosexual Democrat majority in
the U.S. House of Representatives. But what of the minority of
Jews who did not vote Democrat? Unfortunately, especially in many European
countries, such as Spain and some nations of the former Soviet Union,
because of the bad reputation of a cabal of Jews in high places (as
well as Israel's brutality in Gaza this past year), all Jews
are suspect and even demonized by increasingly higher percentages of
the population.
By violating Jeremiah's admonition and instead agitating, perversely
legislating, and, in concert with the Jewish-dominated big media and
Hollywood entertainment industries, corrupting the nations,
ADL is the single largest contributor to the possibility of future
persecution of Jews everywhere. (See article "Jews

With this in mind, I actively encourage both Jewish and Christian
leaders to join with Rabbi Shifren and me to publicly defy and expose
ADL, blunting its power to further inflame hatred of Jews worldwide.
Shifren does not believe any amount of anti-Semitism from without
could ever destroy the Jewish people. But he does believe that ADL
and secular Judaism could, as they destroy moral values of the Jewish
community from within.
Are there any Christian/conservatives who believe they have a biblical
obligation to be a blessing to the Jewish people? Let us unite to end
the influence of one of the most oppressive systems of bondage ever
to rule over God's chosen people: the Anti-Defamation League.
