IS OBAMA LOYAL TO THE HATE BILL?

President Obama has repeatedly made clear that he supports the
federal hate crimes bill and will sign it into law. Yet, like probably
every Democrat who voted for it, he knows that S. 909 is legislative
garbage. It is blatantly unconstitutional, intended by ADL and the
Democratic one-worlders in Congress as a means to exponentially increase
federal control of American society. It is meant to eventually
expand to international dominion over our thoughts and words.
There is, however, one thing Obama feels very strongly about and is willing to
fight to defend: his reputation and political agenda.
With this in mind, we should realize that his repeated promises to veto an arms/hate
bill package that includes 7 to 12 extra F-22 Raptors is not an idle threat.
Obama and the highest military strategists who surround him want to develop the
more modern and versatile, faster F-35 fighter. They want the $1.75 billion that
the House authorized for more Raptors invested in F-35s.
Obama has said he is willing to fight over this one. This is his first veto threat
to a sometimes unruly, Democrat-controlled Congress. At stake is not only national
defense but also Obama's reputation. By dramatizing control of excessive military
spending, he is making a post-bailout statement to economically hard hit Americans
that, although a liberal, he:
1. Is determined to be frugal with taxpayers’ money;
2. Cares deeply about protecting America militarily;
and
3. Is not the servant of the arms industry.
How do we kill the hate bill, now attached inextricably to the arms bill? Simple,
join with the super-powerful defense contracting lobby and workers in 44
states to influence House and Senate conferees in September to create a final
Department of Defense Authorization bill loaded with Raptors – a
bill in defiance of the President’s wishes; a bill as offensive to
him as possible!
Hope Fades in the Senate
Yesterday, Senate Republicans hoped to inflame the liberals and slow down or
stop forward movement of the DOD/hate crimes package by attaching the pro-gun
rights Thune amendment. It failed.
With soon passage of the final version of the DOD bill, there is, apart from
the strategy I propose, no way I know to keep the hate bill from barreling
forward to conference in September.
But with God's help and yours, I believe we have one more opportunity to avoid
going under the jackboot of a federal hate crimes gestapo, eventually ending
free speech and freedom to proclaim the Gospel.
Will you join with me, as the people did with Gideon and with Deborah, to fight
by faith with God against seemingly insurmountable odds – to gain possible
victory?
I believe the Word of God, Jesus, is giving us the word now to pursue this
way of escape with everything we have.
In this last week before summer recess, start calling both Senate
and House members with this message: “Please encourage conferees in
September to include all 12 F-22 Raptors in the Defense Authorization bill.”

Also, begin contacting the White House with this message: “Mr. President,
we expect you to honor your promise to veto a defense bill that includes extra

Call repeatedly until Congress disbands in early August. Then continue calling
to the state offices of members of Congress, as well as the White House. (Your
local library will cheerfully tell you who your members of Congress are and
contact information for their state offices, and this information is readily
available on the internet.)
