PEPSI ABANDONS "GOOD CHRISTIAN BITCHES" SUPPORT!
By Rev. Ted Pike

Today, March 14, NPN staff and I were told by Pepsi representatives that partly because of “consumer complaints” they formally decided last Thursday not to sponsor any more episodes of GCB (“Good Christian Bitches”). A Pepsi ad had appeared on the sitcom’s debut.
Unlike Kraft, which publicly announced it will no longer sponsor GCB, the trend of sponsors may be to quietly cancel, possibly avoiding bad relations with ABC.
American Family Association announced recently that Mentos, Chef Boyardee (ConAgra), and Hellmann’s (Best Foods) have similarly backed out, their ads not appearing on the second show. (See Are Three Sponsors Dumping "Good Christian Bitches?") NPN contacted several of the above, who say they have no public statement at this time.
Pepsi’s exit, again, is proof positive that your calls are hitting sponsors hard. With a possible five sponsors now having ended support, a “domino effect” of corporate flight from ABC is a real possibility—if you keep calling!
Robert Harling, script writer for GCB, says he and the cast are dismayed that controversy unexpectedly continues. What is the "controversy" he is talking about? Actually, ABC's insult to Christian women everywhere has been distinguished, with few exceptions, for its lack of opposition from Christian leadership groups. Such silence caused Rush Limbaugh to ask, "Where's the outrage?" Only opposition by AFA, Parents Television Council, NYC Councilman Peter Valano, Jr. and Newt Gingrich stands out as high profile criticism.
That is except for the National Prayer Network. Harling is talking very largely about the nine articles and postings critical of GCB I have put up, primarily on Truthtellers.org and Rense.com over the last two weeks - as well as three national radio shows. These articles have now been read by many tens of thousands and posted on scores of blogs and websites. He is also dismayed that you, unlike most Christian leadership groups, have not decided to lie down and let the anti-Christ Jews of ABC trample our Savior and His followers. Instead, thousands have called sponsors in protest. "Lots of calls are being reported."
Keep up the calling and emailing, even contacting the same sponsor repeatedly on different days. Here’s the new updated list of sponsors with a huge corporation, Pepsi, missing!
