Getting It Right, at Last

Scripture (particularly Ezekiel 40-47) does prophesy that a repentant remnant of Jews will occupy Palestine under Christ’s blessing and observe the minutiae of the Jewish law during the millennium. But they are subject to the “curse of the law,” not “the perfect law of liberty” (James 1:25), for very different reasons than Farah portrays.

We may infer that the Mosaic Law will be imposed upon the remnant Jews as a judgment. Farah gives the impression that the Law of Moses is good and wholesome for the whole world. Yet Zechariah 14:21, which joins with Ezekiel in describing this period, presents the real reason the Law is re-imposed on the Jews. It says, “In that day there shall no more be the Canaanite in the house of the Lord.” In other words, until the time Mosaic Law is laid upon the remnant, the values and despicable practices of the old Canaanite religion – infant sacrifice (abortion), homosexuality, adultery and fornication, idolatry, occultry, etc. -- have been inhabiting “the house of the Lord,” i.e., the rebuilt Jewish temple and the Jewish religion. By inference, they also have infected the Christ-rejecting Jewish mind. This confirms Revelation’s description of Israel, Babylon the Great, as having within her “every unclean spirit” (Rev. 18:2).

Reinstitution of the Mosaic Law serves the purpose of re-educating such paganized Jews concerning the difference between the clean and unclean, the sacred and profane. It helps rehabilitate a Jewry that until that time has only known “Canaanite” values mixed with Torah. Such values pervade liberal Judaism today in its promotion of homosexuality, abortion, pornography, anti-Christianity and corruption of the nations through their media (See Jews Confirm Big Media Is Jewish ).

Speaking of judgment on the harlot Israel just before this time of Jewish repentance, Ezekiel 16:41-42 says, “I will stop you from playing the harlot.” This proves that modern Israel is still considered a spiritual whore by God, not “precious,” “the greatest miracle,” as Farah claims.

Yet Consequences of Jewish Sin Remain

Scripture teaches God will completely forgive the remnant of their sin, as He did King David for his adultery and murder. Yet He has the right to bring consequences and judgment on repentant persons or nations.

Why is the sin of the Jews of such magnitude that they should be “cursed” again by being made subject to the Law? Every word of Old Testament Law foreshadowed the coming of Jesus, Israel’s ultimate Law Giver. He would fulfill every jot and tittle of it by bringing everlasting righteousness, peace, and joy to the hearts of all who trust and obey. Such is only made possible by the spiritual empowerment and reconciliation of Christ’s death at Calvary. By obedient faith, both Jew and Gentile can access the “simplicity of the Gospel,” a faith that ascends straight up to Christ for justification and guidance without the oppressive encumbrances of the Law.

The Jewish people rejected Christ’s kingdom of God in our hearts. They preferred the infinitely complex and burdensome laws of the Pharisees and their Babylonian Talmud (much heavier burdens than even Moses prescribed). In choosing the Talmud over Christ, they also relegated to small importance the original Old Testament Torah. The Pharisees, by many devious word games and subterfuges, overthrew everything God tried to teach the Jews about morality, love, and justice. The Jewish Encyclopedias agree that the Talmud eclipses the Mosaic Law in authority for religious Jews.

Because of adherence to this false and diabolical guidance system, the majority of religious Jews have become “the synagogue of Satan” (Rev. 3:9). After they crucified Christ, they were dispersed for 2000 years, reviling their true Messiah. As Paul says, they became “enemies of the Gospel” (Rom. 11:28). By them, he says, “the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles” (Rom. 2:24).

Today, as never before, an essentially Talmudic anti-Christ system of Pharisaic legal tradition authorizes weakening and corruption of the nations. Liberal apostate Jewry—the great majority of Jews in the world today—paves the way for anti-Christ through usury, media, pornography, liquor distribution, government, promotion of sodomy and hate laws, and encouragement of wars in the Mideast for the benefit of Israel. Scripture indicates that this profane system of permission to blaspheme and destroy will ascend to world control as Babylon the Great, utterly corrupting humanity (See 'Babylon the Great' is Israel ).

When Christ at last returns, the Jewish people will finally repent and receive Him whom their fathers pierced. (Zech. 12:10) Yet the remnant will not be free to enter the same age of grace as did the Gentiles thousands of years earlier. They are descendants of those who corrupted and rejected His law, led the entire world astray when they should have led it into truth, and saturated themselves in the blood of the martyrs of Jesus (Rev. 18:24). He gave His law to the Hebrews intending that it be perfectly observed. This almost never happened. The Jewish people will still bear the consequences of that incredible evil.

Christ is going to give them a second opportunity to keep His law. This time they will be presided over by Himself in Jerusalem, wielding as much a rod of iron over them as the rest of the world. They and their Khazar (Ashkenazi) proselytes (Ezekiel 47:22) (who now vastly outnumber authentic Jews) will keep every syllable of it perfectly (See The Khazars: Do They Destroy God’s Plan for the Jews? ). The Gentile nations will be required to respect Christ’s agenda with Israel, even sending representatives to the Feast of Tabernacles yearly (Zech. 14:16).

But there is no evidence in Scripture of Farah’s claim that either Christ or the Gentiles will be obligated to keep the Jewish Sabbath or the Jewish Law.

Ruled by the “Rod of Iron”

The millennium brings peace but is not a new “age of grace.” It is a time of rule by law. It answers a history of Jewish-inspired satanic assault on Christ and His laws. It is also a time of stern dominion over a Gentile world which has also committed boundless sins, including attempting to annihilate the Jewish remnant. This remnant will truly be “God’s chosen people” because they now inherit the Abrahamic covenant through repentance. Christ and His angels and saints are in a benign dictatorship—one ruled not just by the Redeemer of mankind but the divine Avenger—the One who rains fire and brimstone on evildoers.

After all, the obedience of mankind during this period is largely made possible not by the inherent goodness of either Jew or Gentile but by the fact that the all-pervasive influence of satanic temptation is temporary eliminated, confined to the bottomless pit. Such obedience is also powerfully assisted by the Holy Spirit as He is “poured on all flesh” (Joel 2:28).

Revelation 20 tells us that after the 1000 years are ended and satanic forces are released, a full one third of humanity will again rebel against God, only to be destroyed by fire from heaven. There is little reason to doubt that as much as one third of the descendants of Jews in the millennium, reinvigorated to make a case against Christ (perhaps because of His “tyranny and oppression”), will also rebel. This would underscore the fact that the Jews are no more holy and deserving of divine favor than any people. Moses called them an unusually “stiff-necked people” (Ex. 32:9) and Isaiah a “nation of corrupters” (Is. 1:4). They may be especially inclined to renew their historic opposition to Christ.

Yet, when the millennium is done and the spiritual New Jerusalem descends, one great accomplishment will have taken place. The descendants of a Christ-crucifying, humanity-corrupting religious system will at last have kept the Law of Moses perfectly. Jesus will have had national righteousness from His stiff-necked tribe, practically whether they wanted it or not. That’s what Christ always intended, and He accomplished it. This will be a stunning, Christ-glorifying victory.
