In a swift and surprising move, the US Senate has scheduled a vote on ENDA, “The Employment Non-Discrimination Act" (S. 815), by the end of the week.

ENDA is a federal workplace “hate crimes” bill that would give “most favored” status to homosexuals and transgenders in hiring and firing, housing, etc. It will threaten Christian employers and employees in their freedom to witness to or reprove homosexuals in the workplace, encouraging the government to view such as harassment and intimidation. Employers could not refuse to hire, or be able to fire, someone because of their sexual orientation. ENDA will vastly increase homosexual privileges, stripping employers, employees, and property owners of fundamental rights. It will exponentially increase the power of homosexuals to sue or claim victimization.

In addition, for businesses or institutions of 15 or more employees, ENDA stipulates that employees “transitioning” from one sex to the other may use existing lavatory and shower facilities of the sex they want to become. This means a male employee who says he is in transition to becoming a woman can enter the locker room of an educational institution and shower with young girls and women (your daughter?) with the authority of federal law (Section 8).

Emergency action is immediately needed to help save freedom in the workplace. Call your Senators with this message: “Please vote against the freedom-destroying, discriminatory Employment Non-Discrimination Act, S.815.” Call Congress toll-free at 866-220-0044 or 877-762-8762. The names of all members of the Senate are available at Truthtellers.org Action Page. Especially call Republican Senators who, until recently, have been wavering. These include John McCain (AZ), Pat Toomey (PA), Kelly Ayotte (NH), Rob Portman (OH), Dean Heller (NV), Ron Johnson (WI), and Orrin Hatch (UT). Perhaps they will change their mind. If only two do so, it will defeat ENDA.

If ENDA passes in the Senate, it will powerfully influence Republicans in the House to similarly cave in to ENDA.

Call immediately. Call repeatedly all week, right up to the final vote.
